Leicester City Lost Chances to Defeat Liverpool with 1-1 Draw

The Foxes lost to The Reds with the lose of chances in grabbing opportunities for victory.


Liverpool draw 1-1 with Leicester City at Anfield on Wednesday evening.


Leicester City coach Claude Puel says, Leicester City had the potential to defeat Liverpool on Wednesday evening. He felt Leicester City could have gone on to beat Liverpool if they had taken their opportunities in front of goal.


Puel also hopes that his team will be inspired by their performance with Liverpool with fixtures against Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur coming out.


Liverpool maintains its position as the league leader with an accumulation of 61 points after Wednesday’s match.


Liverpool’s Sadio Mane scores after the match starts for 3 minutes while Leicester City’s Harry Maguire scored for his team on the stroke of half time.


Liverpool coach Jürgen Klopp insisted the outcome was “absolutely OK” for his team. The Reds had to match at a snowy Anfield after Foxes defender Harry Maguire cancelled out Sadio Mane’s third-minute breakthrough.
